Sea Scholarship Winners

These students are the children of the employees of National Quarries Company Limited, who were successful in the 2002 Secondary Entrance Assessment examination. They received a cash voucher and tokens in recognition of their achievement.

Training Programme

These are the trainees who participated in the on the job training (OJT) programme 2002 are seen on the day of the official launch. The Minister of Energy & Energy Industires Mr. Eric Williams and Minister of Sport & Youth Affairs Mr. Roger Boynes are seen with the trainees at the launch. They were trained in Administration, Finance, Sales and Marketing, Human Resource and Operations.

Sangre Grande Carnival Queens 2003

The contestants of the Ms. Sangre Grande Carnival Queen competition 2003, paid a visit to the company as part of a familiarization tour of the company.

Cordettes, Steel Band Orchestra

National Quarries Company Limited has sponsored the Cordettes Steel Band of Orchestra from Sangre Grande.

Quality - ISO Update

National Quarries Company Ltd (NQCL) is well on the way to becoming ISO 9001: 2000 certified.

A Quality Management System (QMS) has been established and is being implemented. This system defines Quality in terms of the satisfaction of the needs and specifications of both internal and external customers, and is designed to consistently satisfy their requirements by identifying and managing all factors affecting Quality.

The following is the company's Quality Policy which establishes the broad framework within which the Quality Management System (QMS) is designed and managed.
